This full height turnstile is the ideal choice for either internal or external locations. It has a compact and robust design combined with a cost effective & superior reliable operation. Making it the ideal choice for providing effective control in areas where previously security had been desirable but the cost implications had been unwelcome or prohibitive, whether it is in construction sites, industrial premises, warehouses, transport, airports or stadia. Vortex 200

		This full height turnstile is the ideal choice for either internal or external locations. The turnstile features a 90-degree or 120 degree rotor with straight or hooped bars with powder coated or stainless steel finish options available. Electrically controlled for entry/exit or free wheel option. Available with fail locked or unlocked solenoids to conform to security or fire safety requirements. A 12-volt DC logic control unit integral with the 230-volt mains AC mains supplied power unit. The logic control readily accepts voltage free contacts from most access control devices, e.g. card readers, code locks, proximity readers, etc. The turnstile can also be fitted with a pedestrian gate incorporating a magnetic lock & closing mechanism to aid easier access of DDA compliance. 		The Vortex 500 is the ultimate in security as it consists of a double full height turnstile unit which offers trouble-free operation combined with maximum security . This turnstile is reliable and all components are treated for anti-corrosion. Vortex 500 can be used for both internal and external installations and with its imposing stylish design is a valuable extension to access control systems. The Vortex 500 turnstile can have following drive units: Electro-mechanical drive unit TE2, TE-NB Operation of the tripod turnstile is controlled by an electro-mechanical mechanism with following standard features: A locking system with electromagnets that prevents two passages in one time A self centering mechanism to complete rotation of the turnstile into the home position A hydraulic shock absorber to ensure smooth and progressive slowing down operation A blocking mechanism that prevents from reverse rotation Mechanical drive unit has got the same features as electro-mechanical one except there isn’t a logic unit and other parts to control the turnstile.
