Entry Control Systems - 121
The TelGuard 121 has been designed to operate without the need for a dedicated telephone line. The panel is able to offer from 1 to 4 call points and used with a DECT telephone it does not require cabling from the entry panel to the call destination. Alternatively it is able to share a telephone exchange line or analogue extension of an internal phone system. The panel is only 70mm wide and 40mm deep so as to surface mount onto a standard door architrave, or flush mount with the minimum of preparation. The panel offers provision for a monochrome or colour camera.
The call panel connects via multicore to a control interface. This interface may be up to 100m away from the call panel and the operating telephone or DECT base station plugs directly into the control interface. In this mode the telephone is to be used only for entrance requests. If the system is to share a dedicated phone line or analogue extension of a PABX, the control interface plugs into the existing telephone socket and then the operating telephone plugs into the interface control box. In this mode the operating DECT or telephone is used as normal to make and receive telephone calls but also to communicate with an entrance and control access through a door/gate/barrier.
